To protect industrial plants and systems comprehensively against cyber attacks, measures must be applied simultaneously
at all levels. From the operational level up to the field level – from
access control to copy protection. Therefore, apply the "Defense in depth" protection concept
to avoid security risks in your environment before
setting up the OPC UA server.
Note in particular that the company network must not be connected to the Internet without suitable
protective measures.
