Creating fault reasons in the reason tree
Description
You create fault reasons (Reasons) for each of the specified time categories in the reason tree. A fault reason describes in detail the state of the machine / plant. Five levels are available.
Procedure
-
To display the reason tree, click "Reason tree" in the "Configuration" view.
-
To create a fault reason at the first level for one of the specified time categories, click "Add" in the time category field.
-
Give the fault reason a descriptive name, such as maintenance.
-
To create another, more detailed fault reason for an already created fault reason at the next lower level, click "Add" in the field of the already created fault reason.
You can create additional fault reasons or rename them at any time.
-
To delete a fault reason, click "Delete" in the fault reason field.
-
To back up the reason tree, click "Save".
NOTE
If you delete a fault reason that is already used in calculations, the parent time category is used at this point.
