Exporting and importing dashboards
To be able to use status mappings that have been created on different devices, first export the user-defined dashboards and import them into other environments.
For a user-defined dashboard, export the dashboard in the file format JSON.
Exporting a user-defined dashboard
To export a dashboard, proceed as follows:

Display the dashboard.

To export a user-defined dashboard, select "Exporting a dashboard"
The "Downloads" dialog box opens.

To display the Export file in text format, click "Open".

To save the Export file, click "Save as".

To display more exports, click "See more".

The toolbar in the dialog box has more options.

Importing a user-defined dashboard
To import a dashboard, proceed as follows:

Select an asset in the navigation toolbar in My Plant.

Click "Add dashboard" and select "Import dashboard".
The "Upload dashboard configuration" dialog box opens.

Click "Import dashboard template" to select a file for import.

Click "Save" to import the selected file.
The configuration of the dashboard is displayed.
Since not all parameters, configurations of types, and widgets are available in the environment, adjust the configuration of the dashboard before importing.

If the name of the dashboard is already in use on the asset, assign another name.

Replace the parameter used in the imported configuration with a parameter that is actually present on the asset.
Status mappings and user-defined periods of the exported dashboard are also imported.
Importing with erroneous data on parameters and configurations is not possible.

Click "Import dashboard".
After a successful import, the "Go to dashboard" button is available.
NOTE
The number of dashboards on an asset is limited to 5. No other dashboard can be imported once this number is reached.
