Testing data flow

The Visual Flow Creator is a web-based application for visual data flow programming. Nodes are the smallest blocks in the app. Each node is programmed to perform a specific function when creating data flows.

Introduction

With Simatic Notifier Nodes in Visual Flow Creator you can view, accept and delete notifications in the Notifier.

Procedure

To test the data flow, follow these steps:

  1. Start the Vision Flow Creator App.

  2. Create a new flow.

  3. Add a "Notifier" node and a debug node.

  4. Connect the output of the "Notifier" node to the input of the debug node.

  5. Edit the "Notifier" node to match your settings.

  6. Click "Done".

  7. Deploy the flow.

  8. Open the "Debug" tab.

  9. The notifications of the Notifier are displayed.
