MindSphere Private Cloud

Within this release of MindSphere Private Cloud, you will experience the MindSphere services and applications in the same way with from our public cloud offerings.

Depending on the chosen plans and services for each deployment, the following services will be available with this release:

  • MindConnect Software Agent with Advanced Driver Extension Add On

  • Service Component Changes

What's new?

  • Within this release, MindConnect Software Agent (MCSA) Firmware is supported.

  • Within this release, MindConnect Software Agent (MCSA) UI Plugin is be available.

  • MCSA supports following protocols: S7, OPCUA, Modbus-TCP, System, Rockwell.

  • Within this release, MCSA Advanced Driver is supported with limitations. This will enable customers to use additional protocols i.e. Fanuc Focas, Sinumerik, S7+, IEC61850 (WinCC OA), MT Connect with MCSA.

Known issues

  • MCSA Advanced Driver Package limitation - Bidirectional communication not working for S7+ protocol.

  • Mass Import/Export functionality using excel sheet is not supported in Private Cloud.

  • Multi-part upload does not work in Private Cloud hence firmware update packages cannot be uploaded in Private Cloud.

  • Currently, Setup file will not downloadable via UI.
