Asset Management

What's new?

  • It is now possible to delete individual variables from aspect types even if there are already assets instantiated for this type.

  • Within this release, the following technical hard limits are enforced for new capability package tenants:

    Aspect type cannot be created as aspect type variables technical limit exceeded for tenant. Please reduce the number of variables in aspect type.

    1. Reduce the number of variables in aspect type.

    2. Split variables across multiple aspect types

      e.g., 30 variables on an aspect type can be split across 2 aspect types with 15 variables each.

    Asset type cannot be created as asset type aspect technical limit exceeded for tenant. Please reduce the number of assettype-aspecttype associations.

    Reduce the number of aspects on asset type by increasing variables per aspect, but make sure that variables per aspect are within limit of 20.

    Asset type cannot be created as asset type direct variable technical limit exceeded for tenant. Please reduce the number of direct variables in asset type.

    Reduce the number of direct variables on the asset type by shifting them over to a reusable aspect type.

Asset Manager

What's new?

  • The users will now be able to rename variables on an aspect-type and rename aspects of an asset-type.

  • With this release, the MindConnect system is enabled to perform mass firmware updates from the "Connectivity view" of Asset Manager.

Event Management

What's new?

  • Event management application provides API to create the events in bulk. The current limit is 50 events at a time.With this release, the bulk API will have higher limits for event creation i.e. 150 events at a time.

Integrated Data Lake

What's new?

  • Within this release, we have Improved user interface for search providing a combination of parameters & operators to search objects within Integrated Data Lake.

  • It is now possible to view images associated with the objects from within the Integrated Data Lake Plugin in Fleet Manager.

IoT Time Series Service

What's new?

  • Within this release, we provide supporting timeseries data access based on the new Ability to remove and rename variable.

IoT TS Aggregates Services

Advance information

  • IoT timeseries Aggregate V3 API is planned to be deprecated by mid of April' 2022. Please migrate to upgraded version V4 API.

Settings

What's new?

  • Within this release, the available modules and functions in Settings are now grouped in the left-hand navigation bar.

  • In the Settings application, you will find a new tab called Policies which you can use to create access policies for your users and assets as well as IDL files (if available in your tenant). These access policies allow you to configure fine-grained access.

    During the first stage of our roll out we only grant access to the new feature set upon request. To utilize our Resource Access Management service, please contact your sales representative.

    NOTE

    Enabling Secure Data Sharing in your tenant will restrict access for every non Tenant Admin user. For this reason we also provide the option of a two-phase roll out which gives you the opportunity to create policies before access enforcement is enabled.

Usage Transparency

What's new?

  • UTS provides billing transparency feature which offers monthly usages to the customers. The enhancement is required to include the optional custom tags for each usage. This shall enable customers align the UTS reporting schema better with their invoices.

    • Users can pass the required information via the a payload to UTS

    • Custom tags and user details will be a part of this payload

    • UTS will include this information in monthly exports
