From Start for Free to the full user experience in MindSphere

Basic Starter Package is a new offering which allows Start for free users to transform their free account into a full-fledge, expandable one, keeping the existing tenant and all assets which were already configured.

The Account will be extended with additional tools and the available IoT cloud resources will be upgraded:

• Productive, expandable IoT account, including Usage Transparency and User Management

• Onboarding, managing & configuration of assets (via MindConnect Services) using Asset Manager

• Fleet Management using Fleet Manager

• Comparison of Time Series Data and Root Cause Analyzer using Visual Analyzer

• KPI Management and Dashboarding with intuitive drag and drop analytic workflows using Visual Flow Creator

• Rule Management and Notifications

• Collaborative low-code / no-code / codeful application development (self-hosted)

• Access to Support Center

• On-demand account extension (e.g. resource upgrades, apps, packages, ... )

The Upgrade tool provides the following functionalities:

• guides you step-by-step through the ordering process

• offers simple online registration

• provides fast technical provisioning within minutes

• The resource consumption values in Usage Transparency Service tool might need up to 4 hours to update and reflect real consumption, with the exception of the Routing App metric, which will be updated as long as the required account identifiers (SoldTo ID and Install ID / Site ID depending on your location) have been associated to your Basic Starter Package. Account identifiers will be made available to you via e-mail and in your account (via Upgrade tool and OS bar).

• The Upgrade tool does not display the whole upgrade catalogue until the required account identifiers (SoldTo ID and Install ID / Site ID depending on your location) have been associated to your Basic Starter Package. Account identifiers will be made available to you via e-mail and in your account (via Upgrade tool and OS bar).

• The Upgrade tool does not show the correct subscription term until the order associated to your Basic Starter Package has been fully processed by us. This might take up to several days.

• Users with "Developer Admin" are able to see and access Settings on the launchpad. Please note that "Service Credentials" are not available on Basic Starter Package accounts per default, and therefore full functionality of Settings may not be available for all users.
