NOTE

The following Release Notes are valid only for region Europe 2.

Asset Management API

Known issues

  • On some tenants logically deleted assets may still exist. They are not interfering with productive use and will be removed soon.

  • Currently it is possible to use a variable name equal to the aspect name which leads to errors for example in Fleet Manager.

Data Flow Engine

Known issues:

  • Sporadically streams cannot be deleted. Please try again if it was unsuccessful.

  • If an entity is derived from type core.basic device only one stream can be deployed.

Developer Cockpit

What's new?

  • Added a default icon for new applications.

  • Filtering of applications respects now the Display Name and Internal Name

  • After creating an application you are now redirected to the applications details view and not the dashboard

  • Improved ordering of applications by name and version (alphanumeric ordering)

  • Added a quick link in the application details view to jump to the application role configuration

  • Reset the application filter with the new "All" option

Fixed issues

  • Fixed a bug that reset the cache-control configuration for Fleet Manager Plugins.

Known issues

  • In some scenarios you cannot delete already created roles in registered applications.

  • Applications that are successfully uploaded may not occur under tab "Promoted apps". Click on the application to refresh the status.

  • Deleting multiple applications at the same time is not supported.

  • Application versions that contain a "#" character cannot be deployed in the Operator Cockpit. We advise to not use "#" in production version strings.

  • Applications cannot be deleted after being transferred to the production system.

  • The application upload size is limited to 100 MB.

  • Sporadically application roles are not deleted from the User Management when deleting an application

  • Layout issues in Internet Explorer 11 in combination with high resolution displays and 125% font scaling.

  • We are going to remove the ability of assigning mdsp:core:developer and mdsp:core:developeradmin roles to subtenant users.

Event Management

What's new?

  • Possibility to create custom event type fields with type UUID or ENUM.

Fixed issues

  • Custom event cannot be created if event type has 'eventState' field - eventState predefined property is now validated correctly.

  • Service does not let parallel delete jobs run using the same typeID - event type ID in use is locked during event deletion.

  • ENUM field value length is validated (36 chars).

  • Event type could not be deleted sporadically.

  • Event type fields having UUID or ENUM types can now be updated properly.

  • DOUBLE event type field type is validated correctly.

  • Timezone information is validated properly when reading events.

MindSphere OS Bar

Known issues

  • The new height can cause problems, if the CSS of the app is using the attribute "position:fixed".

  • Details can be found here:> https://developer.mindsphere.io/resources/resources-mindsphere-osbar/index.html
