Evaluating cleaning processes in production (CIP Analysis)

Clean-in-place analysis is used to get transparency into cleaning processes that have been executed in production lines. CIP process parameters are collected from various systems from communication protocols, e.g. OPC UA SIMATIC S7 and Ethernet IP.

The configuration of the CIP analysis creates an automatically generated dashboard that can be accessed via home-module as favorite or via a specific selected asset.

Results are presented as an overview dashboard and detail views per process. Here, you can either get a complete overview about all processes that have been executed or do a drill-down to single processes.

By defining a Golden CIP, a comparison of processes can be achieved that help to identify bottlenecks or possible improvements in the processes.

Performing analysis on your CIP processes can lead to:

  • Time savings (higher availability of your equipment due to reduced cleaning time)
  • Resources and Sustainability (significant reduction of water, energy and chemistry consumption)
  • Food safety and quality (continous quality control of CIP process and food safety)
