Configuring a CIP analysis¶
For each asset, a dashboard for CIP analysis can be created. The dashboard is created automatically on the basis of the settings made by the user.
By configuring a CIP analysis the asset will be associated as in-use and reflected in terms of billing.
Procedure¶
To configure CIP analysis, proceed as follows:
- Select an asset in My Plant.
- Click "Add dashboard".
- Select "CIP dashboard".
The "CIP configuration" view appears.
. - Select the default time period.
The periods defined under "Configuration" are available for selection. - Select a calculation cycle.
The selected calculation cycle will be used for parameters and their respective influence in the scoring. -
Select the parameter that represents the needed contexts.
For CIP analysis there are multiple contexts that are possible. CIP ID represents the unique identifier of a process that shall be monitored. It is possible to exclude CIP IDs from the analysis completely. These are the optional parameters:- Process ID - represents the type of a cleaning process that has been started
- Step ID - represents the different phases of a cleaning process
- Process ID - represents the type of a cleaning process that has been started

Select the parameters that represent the cleaning process.
Temperature, Concentration, Flow Rate and Pressure are mandatory for CIP analysis configuration. - Select one or more parameters to be analyzed in addition.
The parameters can represent, for example, various cost factors (energy consumption, cost of raw materials) or consumption values.
- Click "Save".
An automatically generated dashboard is created which is continuously supplied with data.
The "CIP" dashboard is displayed.
