Version V1.4¶
Multivariable regression
- With multivariable regression, a parameter (KPIs or variables) is placed in context with other parameters and mapped as a linear regression model. In this way, the value of the output parameter can be determined using the input parameters and the regression model. (Model result) example: The energy consumption of a plant is affected by certain influencing factors such as ambient temperature, the quantity produced and the quantity filled. The theoretical energy consumption can be determined if the regression model and the input variables are known. This can serve as a basis for the actual energy consumption. In addition to the model, qualitative parameters are also output, which determine the quality of the model. It may be that input variables are used which have no relation to the output variable. In this case, the correlation coefficient is 0. This means that the model is not trustworthy.
Different models can be calculated and saved per asset and per parameter. The saved models are available to the user in an automatically generated dashboard, where the result of the model is compared to the actual value. In order to better recognize the deviation, the deviation and is also displayed in addition to the model result and the actual measured values.
After the KPIs for the model result and the deviation are created for each model, a limit can be defined via the standard functionality, at which the user receives a notification via the notifier.
Creating reports
- The "Create reports" functionality allows the user to create reports from the asset configuration, which can be automatically sent to one or more users in Excel format. Each report has its own Excel report template, which allows the user to determine the layout individually. Charts, logos or Excel formulas can be easily added.
In addition to a name, the user can also define the reporting period. In addition, he can define areas. Ranges are blocks of information for which the user can define which parameters (KPIs or variables) should be displayed. In addition, the user can define for the range whether a KPI result should be displayed for the entire reporting period, or whether the KPI should be calculated and displayed in a shorter cycle.
String and Bool values in single value widgets
- String and Bool values can be displayed in single value widgets.
Version V1.3¶
Step time analysis
- A predefined dashboard for step time analysis is available. The data for the step time analysis can be taken over from the controller via the S7 adapter. The plant model is defined in the data service and an asset is created for each sequence. The user can configure the sequence via predefined aspects and link the variables to the corresponding S7 variables. In addition to the variables with the information as to whether the respective step is active, a variable with the product information can be assigned.
In Performance Insight, the user can define the limits per step for each product. Here the user can choose whether he wants to set the limit for each step individually or, for example: wants to use the minimum from the already recorded sequence runs + an offset to be defined. The user can define a display name, which will be displayed in the dashboard in addition to the product.
The user can hide the initial step from the display.
Once the limits are defined, the user can open the predefined dashboard and immediately start the analysis.
In the statistics, the user can see how many sequences have timeouts compared to the total number. The minimum, maximum and average duration of the sequences is displayed, as well as the top 3 steps with the most overruns, from which the first optimization potential can be derived.
In a bar chart view, the user is shown the sequences that have a timeout of the limit of at least one step. A drop-down list allows the user to select a different product. In addition to the bar chart view, the user can switch to the "Trend" view, in which the information for each step is displayed in a line chart. The user can freely choose which steps are to be considered.
User-defined time periods
- Users can define their own time periods under "Time periods" in the configuration area.
Examples:- A day that starts at 06:00 and ends at 06:00 of the next day.
- A shift that starts at 06:00 and is defined with a duration of 8 hours These time periods can be used in the dashboard in the same way as the pre-defined time periods.
Other new features
- In the chart, the aggregated value is now displayed in the middle of the time range and no longer at the end of the period. The from-to time range is displayed in the tooltip.
- Extension of the zoom function in the chart widget or in the detail view of all widgets. The user can zoom in and out in stages.
- Widgets can now also be copied.
- A CSV export of the data can be performed directly from the widget.
Version V1.2¶
Dashboard for OEE analysis

The configuration can be performed easily with just a few clicks on the corresponding asset.
The user gets the essential KPIs (TEEP, OEE, Performance, Availability, Quality, MTTR as well as the MTBF) displayed. For a better classification of the results shown, the key figures of the previous period are displayed as a reference. In the detail view, the user gets the most important KPIs displayed in a line chart. In the histogram view, the statistical information is displayed and in the time comparison view the KPIs OEE, Performance, Availability and Quality are displayed for yesterday, last week and last month.
The user can define the limits for the automatically generated KPI instances, whereby limits are defined by default, which are also used in the predefined dashboard.

Extended pricing model
- The pricing model has been extended to include the number of assets for OEE analysis. In addition to the KPI instances and the users, the OEE analysis is now also taken into account in the pricing. The KPI instances generated for the OEE analysis are included in the price item "Asset for OEE analysis" and are therefore not included in the number of KPIs.
Quality code flag not equal to "OK"
- Data (time series) with a quality code flag not equal to "OK" are not considered in the display or in the KPI calculation.
Extended Gantt chart
- An extended Gantt chart with zoom function is available.
