"Apps" user interface

Start screen

The "My Applications" screen, by default displays a list of all the CF and self hosted apps on your Operator tenant. The Provisioning and Productive status of each of these applications can also be viewed. The applications can have any of the following labels:

  • New: A new application is available or a new version of an existing application is available

  • Update: A new version for an existing application

  • App Credential Enabled: The application has a requirement for app credentials

  • Mendix App: The application is a mendix based application.

  • Remediation Required and Deprecated for CF apps: If the validation of an application has failed, then the application is assigned to the developer to provide a new version of the app with the required fix within 14 days. Meanwhile, the app will be in the "Remediation Required" state in Operator Cockpit.

An email will be triggered to notify the developer about the validation failure of the application and to provide a new version of the application with the required fixes within 14 days. Simultaneously, an email will be triggered to notify the operator that this app will be deprecated within a specific time.

If a new version of the application is not available within 10 days, then an email will be triggered to the developer as a reminder to provide the new version of the app, and the deadline will be increased from 14 days to 17 days.

If the developer fails to provide a new version of the app with the required fixes within 17 days, then the app will be "Deprecated". Thereafter, the operator will not be able to register, deploy, provision or publish the app that is in "Deprecated" state.

The "Deprecated" apps will be stopped in Cloud Foundry, if a new version of this app is available or assigned to an operator.

For more information on upgrading an application, refer the chapter "Upgrade or downgrade an application to a different version".

For more information on app credentials, refer the chapter "Working with app credentials".
