Displays the time range and the time zone used. By default, the time range is set to "Last 30 days".

Opens the calendar function.

More information is provided in Chapter: Using the calendar function.

Shows all subtenants. "root tenant" is set as default.

Is displayed in the bottom left-hand corner of the page. The tooltip shows an example of the calculation logic.

Procedure

  1. Click on button "Sustainability Report".

    184243031435.png

The corresponding window opens. The following information is displayed:

    • Effective remote maintenance:

Displays the total number of service calls that were carried out in the specified time period and with the specified information to the tenant.

    • Avoided travel distance

Displays the distance that would have to be traveled by car if remote maintenance is not used.

The following assumptions are used as basis to calculate the distance traveled:

      No.

      Assumption

      1

Service engineer location = subtenant location

If the subtenant location is not saved, then the location of the "root tenant" is used as basis for the calculation.

      2

Machine operator location = system/plant location

If the system/plant location is not saved, then the remote session is not taken into account in the calculation.

      3

The Haversine formula is used to estimate the direct distance between the location of the service engineer and the location of the machine operator.

      More information

The Haversine formula calculates the distance between two points on the surface of a sphere according to "how the crow flies" principle. This means that the formula is ideal to determine the shortest possible distance based on geographical coordinates, e.g. latitude and longitude. The formula is well known for its precision when performing geographical and navigational calculations.

    • Reduced CO2 emissions in kg:

The quantity is calculated as follows: X kg = avoided travel distance (km) · 0.3 kg/km.

    • Carbon dioxide value in €:

The value is calculated as follows: X € = 0.045 €/kg · calculated quantity of reduced CO2emissions in kg.

  2. Click in the appropriate input field at the top left to change the time range that has been set.

  3. To change the tenant or subtenant that has been set, select a tenant or subtenant from the corresponding drop-down list.

Notes

  • If you create a new system/plant, then the location of the "root tenant" is defined as default location. You can also define another location.

  • If you create a system/plant under a subtenant without defining a location, then the location of the subtenant is defined as default location.

  • If you create a system/plant with a location and subsequently shift it to a subtenant, then the previously set subtenant location is overwritten.

To avoid inadvertent changes, be especially careful when shifting system/plant with defined location to a subtenant.

  • Complete data about the location: Always enter the postal code or other data, for example street name and number, together with the country. No calculations are performed if you do not provide all of the data requested.

  • If the geographical latitude and longitude of the location are specified, then the distance to the location is calculated based on these details.
