Comparing KPI across assets or vice-versa (Compare)¶
The "Compare" widget displays the value of contexts in relation to selected assets. This visualization can be either based on contexts on the x-axis or on assets.
Use case for this widget type is the comparison of certain assets in relation to self-defined contexts, in this case KPI types. For instance it is possible to compare assets according to their OEE, Availability or Performance in a fast and easy way.
Workflow¶
You have created a dashboard.
- Start by adding a widget. Choose "Compare".
-
In Assets, select all assets that you want to compare.
Maximum number of assets to be compared
Currently, the maximum number of assets is 10 with a maximum of 10 contexts in relation.
-
In Details, select the contexts that shall be used for comparison.
- All defined KPI Types are available as possible contexts
- Each KPI Type can only be selected once
- "Not found in assets" indicates if a KPI is not available for visualization
Changing the comparative approach¶
It is possible to switch between parameter-driven and machine-driven evaluation.
Change between parameter-based and machine-based comparison. Focus either on the individual parameters you want to compare across multiple machines or get a machine-focused overview of all parameters assigned to it. E.g.:
