Creating a user-defined dashboard

In addition to the automatically generated dashboards, you can create user-defined dashboards.

• Choose between different widgets for data visualization
• Design the dashboard according to your needs

Workflow

1. In "My Plant", select an asset. This will display an overview of all configured dashboards for this asset.
2. Clicking on the button will display possible dashboard options.
3. Configure your dashboard as follows:
   • Choose a dashboard refresh rate.
     According to the selected rate the dashboard and its data will be refreshed in a background job.
   • Set the grid dimensions of your dashboard.
     This grid will be used for widget placement.
   • Select the background opacity of your widgets.
     This is a powerful tool when combined with a background image.
   • Enable compact mode to minimize widget size and hide the header.

4. Select "User-defined dashboard" and fill out the required fields.

   

   • Specify the period for which the data will be visualized on the dashboard.
     The period can be updated anytime.
   • Specify an offset to move the period around your selected date.

5. Optionally, choose whether to include a background image for the dashboard.
   This image will appear each time the dashboard is accessed.

You have created a new, empty dashboard and are ready to fill it with widgets.
