Configuring metadata of assets

Overview

The asset view supports enhanced metadata management, allowing administrators to add contextual information to assets. This feature improves asset identification and visualization by displaying key details directly in the asset view.

Requirement

• Administrator access rights

Procedure

1. Navigate to the asset view and click on the "Edit" icon.
2. Set the following information:
   • Type of Asset:
     • "Line"
       --or--
     • "No type"
   • Location of Asset:
     Includes address details (street, ZIP code, city, country)
   • Image of Asset:
     A representative image for better visualization

Result

Once metadata is configured, the asset image is displayed in the context region (if available). If a location is set, a map view appears on the asset page with the location highlighted.
