The "app roles" tab is visible on the left navigation menu under "Authorization Management".

The mobile type of application is automatically assigned a default scope: "._access" when the application is created.

Displays 'Scopes and API roles' list.

Roles

Displays the roles list.

Scopes display and addition

Scopes

Lists the scope of the application.

Data is displayed on the UI.

admin

If the check box is enabled, the role has already been assigned to the admin.

user

If the check box is enabled, the role has already been assigned to a user.

custom role

If the check box is enabled, the role has already been assigned to a user defined custom role.

Create new scope

Scope Name

Enter the name of the scope.

Admin

Enable the check box, if the scope is to be assigned to the Admin.

If applicable, check both based on the scope.

User

Enable the check box, if the scope is to be assigned to a User.

Add new API core role

MindSphere API Roles

Displays the roles created for a selected application.

Admin

Enable the check box, if the role is to be assigned to the Admin.

If applicable, check both based on the role.

User

Enable the check box, if the role is to be assigned to a User.

Roles display and addition

Roles

Lists the roles for the selected application. You can define a maximum of five roles and an application requires at least one role.

Data is displayed on the UI.

Add new roles

Name

Add a new custom role.

Save the created role and this will be visible in the "Roles" UI

Description

Add a suitable description.
