One or more web-based account(s), individually or collectively, enabling access to and use of certain Offerings on the Platform through a unique URL assigned by Siemens.
Analytics API Calls¶
Analytics API calls represent the sum of all API calls which can be triggered from Anomaly Detection, Event Analytics, KPI Calculation, Signal Calculation, Signal Spectrum Analysis, Signal Validation and Trend Prediction.
Anomaly Detection Executions¶
The number of detections executed to generate anomaly spots on target variable via machine learning technologies in AI for Everyone.
An Asset is a digital representation of objects which can be an industrial machine or an automation system with a single or multiple automation unit(s) e.g. PLC or even a factory site, your mobile phone, or a Raspberry Pi in case of Start for Free. This representation incorporates a data model describing properties and abilities of the respective object.
Asset Attributes are properties of Assets. An Asset Attribute represents individual data such as temperature, pressure or speed. They can be static, e.g. a serial number or dynamic like temperature where historical data is desired. An Asset comprises of at least one Asset Attribute but can contain more, if required. Asset Attributes created by you are counted independently of their purpose such as monitoring, alarming or structuring.
A tool that comes with MindAccess or Insights Hub Capability Packages, Asset Manager facilitates bringing your real world facilities, assets, and processes into Insights Hub. Asset Manager's intelligent templates let you set up multiple processes, or entire fleets very quickly, and Industrial IoT services make it possible to integrate both cloud and on-premise data.
In Insights Hub, dashboards are used to visualize IoT and Integrated Data Lake data. Different applications are available to create dashboards, e.g. Dashboard Designer, Visual Flow Creator and Insights Hub Monitor. To create a dashboard, visualization panels are arranged in a grid layout. Each visualization panel can be configured individually (e. g. color, font). The availability of visualization panels, their configuration options depend on the application itself and on the subscribed Insights Hub Capability Package. Authorized Users might create a limited number of dashboards.
Data Contextualization - Data Outbound Traffic¶
Outbound Traffic is the total data output generated by Data Contextualizationin in the form of query responses.
Data Contextualization - Data Registries¶
Data Registry is used to organize information about the incoming data and its source. Creating a data registry is an essential step before data ingestion.
Data Contextualization - Query Executions¶
Query Executions is the total of number of times, queries have been executed over ingested data.
An Environment (also known as “Tenant”) is uniquely identified by its name and resulting URL. A User of the Environment can log in via the respective URL. After login, the Launchpad displays, and provides access to respective applications that you have subscribed to. One Account can have multiple Environments for different purposes.
Customer Content is held separately per Environment. Consumption of Cloud Resources and Asset Attributes are tracked per Account.
An Event documents the occurrence of a defined situation (e.g. starting a motor).
Event Instance represents the occurrence and includes the information defined in the Event Type (e.g., 2018-07-10 15:45:23 | HIGH | Temperature high).
The order and the content of an Event Instance are specified in the corresponding Event Type (e.g., timestamp, priority and description).
File Storage represents the total volume of files that can be uploaded and stored on the Platform for an Account. File Storage is used to read, write, delete, upload and update files associated to assets, store metadata information, and search for files by metadata.
The number of forecasts executed to generate prediction results on target variable via machine learning technologies in Insights Hub Predict (part of Insights Hub Monitor).
Insights Hub Launchpad¶
Following a login to the Account, the Insights Hub Launchpad appears. Similar to a desktop on any common operating system (OS), the Insights Hub Launchpad facilitates starting various assigned Cloud Services or Applications.
Insights Hub Monitor Rules¶
Rules refer to the rules functionality in Insights Hub Monitor to create and configure rules that monitor parameters of an Asset. You can define rules that monitor the data points of the respective Assets and define resulting actions such as sending notifications and setting an event after exceeding the thresholds.
Insights Hub Monitor simple KPIs¶
Refers to “Configure simple KPI” capability in Insights Hub Monitor and represents number of concurrent active simple KPIs that use time series data.
Insights Hub Monitor - KPIs (using aggregated time series data)¶
Refers to “Configure advanced KPI” capability in Insights Hub Monitor and represents number of concurrent active advanced KPIs that use aggregated time series data.
Insights Hub Monitor - Processed Data (Using IDL)¶
Represents the total data queried from IDL in a month for advanced KPIs and dashboards within Insights Hub Monitor.
Insights Hub Push Notifications¶
A full in the OS bar integrated system can show push notifications of all applications. That will show the status of the environment in just one view. These can be enabled or disabled based on user specific needs.
Integrated Data Lake (IDL)¶
An application that serves as a single storage place for data that can be read, crawled, indexed, and cataloged by other apps and services. The data lake can store relational data, such as data from operational databases, or from line-of-business apps, as well as non-relational data, such as data from mobile apps or IoT devices.
Nodes are configurable pieces of functionality that process input data and produce output data. Examples range from data processing to complex functions and online services.
Notifications (Email, Mobile Push and SMS)¶
Notifications enable (i) sending emails, mobile push notifications and SMS in relation to certain events defined by a User, or (ii) sending email notifications to (a group of) individual recipients. Different limits apply for SMS, emails and mobile push notifications.
The Operator Cockpit is where users can run, manage and sell apps.
Predictive Learning (PrL)¶
Predictive Learning is an application that combines analytics, statistics, and machine learning algorithms to provide insight into data trends. Combining predictive technology with IoT, service, field, and other data streams allows all levels of organizations to leverage as-used data to identify patterns, anomalies, and sequences of events to foresee needs, and to resolve issues before problems arise.
Settings is a web-based Graphical User Interface (GUI) in for user organization, roles, and access configuration.
Time Series Data Ingest Rate¶
Time Series Data Ingest Rate represents the rate at which the sensor data is ingested into the Platform. Data ingest is based on number of Assets, number of variables per Asset, size per variable including overhead, read cycle intervals and sending frequency. This depends on the size of the requests containing time series data sent from the customer to the Platform.
Time Series Data read/compute¶
Time Series Data read/compute represents the rate at which time series raw and/or aggregate data is queried from the time series data storage. This depends on the size of the query response containing time series data to be sent from the time series data storage. This metric represents the sudden spike in data queries and should not be associated with continuous data polling.
Time Series Data Storage¶
Time Series Data Storage represents the total volume of time series data ingested and stored in the Platform for an Account.
A person or entity that accesses an Offering under this Agreement, whether such access is given by Customer, by Siemens at Customer’s request, or by a third party authorized by Customer.
Visual Flow Creator Compute Hours¶
Compute hours represent the execution time for workflows created in Visual Flow Creator.
