Connectivity Concepts¶

This section explains the connectivity concepts of the Insights Hub. The connectivity concepts can effectively collect and utilize data from diverse industrial environments, enabling enhanced operational efficiency, predictive maintenance, and other data-driven insights.

Whether you connect to a single device or an entire shop floor, you have two main options: hardware solutions and software solutions.
Hardware solutions are robust, support industry-standard protocols and are ready to be used as gateways to Insights Hub.
Software solutions offer scalable, flexible, and secure connectivity, enabling a wide range of use cases.

Remote Services provide fast, easy to setup, versatile and secure connectivity. It supports remote engineering or access to apps and data located on devices in other networks. It facilitates efficient remote management and operations.
