Filtering by Production Tracking Item list (advanced search via CSV upload)¶
This procedure describes how to perform an advanced search by uploading a CSV file containing a list of production tracking items. This option can be useful to check items received from external systems and validate them to proceed with their analysis using the app’s capabilities.
Procedure¶
- In the "Search" page, click the "Search by Production Tracking Item List" button located on the Production Tracking Item search filter.
Unlike the default “Starts With” filter, this advanced capability allows you to directly upload a file. - Enter a name for your search request in the dialog box that appears.
A default name is usually pre-filled based on the current date and time. - If the file exceeds 50K, the system splits it into multiple batches to be uploaded separately.
- If the file is below this threshold, the upload completes in a single batch.
- Click "Browse…", then choose the CSV file and click "Next".
- Upload the file. Once this operation is completed, the system examines its content and triggers the search request.
- Click "Save" to confirm the search request.
The search begins in the background and is performed asynchronously. - In the "Action Queue" page, check the request status and when it is completed, open it to view the matched production tracking items.
The system displays all items found in Traceability that were included in the uploaded CSV file. This indicates that the items are valid and can be analyzed in detail. - You can now proceed with the analysis, for example, by performing a backward and forward genealogy search.
