Tracking search and genealogy requests

The Action Queue page

The "Action Queue" page provides detailed progress for search or genealogy requests performed in the Traceability app. When a search action or a genealogy request takes more than 30 seconds to process, a notification appears, and the Action Queue page is automatically updated with information about the request's status. This allows you to monitor its progress, even if you navigate to a different page to perform other operations.

Procedure

To check the status of a search operation or a genealogy request that is taking more than 30 seconds to be processed, follow these steps:

  1. From the left navigation, click this icon Action Queue Icon to open the "Action Queue" page.
In the "Action Queue" page, you can see details such as:
    • "Name" of the requested operation.
    • "Context Type": the type of the executed operation.
    • "Status": The current status of the request, which may be "Completed", "Failed" or "Partial".
Note: Only a subset of the results (up to 600 items) was processed because the request exceeded the supported limit.
    • "Author": The email address of the user who initiated the request.
    • "Completion rate": The progress of the operation.
    • "Creation date": The date and time when the request was created.
    • "Error Message": Displays the reason for the failure if the operation was unsuccessful.
  2. For an advanced search performed via CSV upload, the "Open" button is enabled once the operation status changes to "Completed". Select the corresponding row and click "Open" to view the search results.
  3. For a genealogy export operation, the "Open" button remains disabled. After the operation is completed, click "Download" to generate and download the CSV file for the selected genealogy.

Note

Requests in the "Action Queue" are retained for four hours, afterwards they are automatically deleted.
