28th March 2026¶
Insights Hub Business Intelligence¶
What's new?¶
- You can now configure scheduled extracts from Opcenter Intelligence to run every hour automatically for refreshing your data at regular intervals. Now, you can configure it to run either at the hour or at the half‑hour past. This ensures that the extracted dataset is periodically updated from the source system, so your reports and dashboards always reflect the latest available data.
- With this new API, you can now automatically monitor Business Intelligence (BI) license usage. The endpoint provides each user's last successful login timestamp and their currently assigned BI license type.
Dashboard Designer¶
What's new?¶
With this release, the Opcenter Intelligence data source now supports the capability of calculating manufacturing KPIs and retrieving the calculation results in Dashboard Designer. The Opcenter Intelligence configuration panel allows users to configure one or more KPI queries. For each query, it is possible to select a KPI defined in Opcenter Intelligence, select the required filter and execute the KPI calculation to retrieve the results.
- You can calculate a KPI by selecting a pre-configured filter and binding its parameters to dashboard parameters.
- You can configure more KPI queries in the same panel.
The following optional aggregations are supported for each KPI query:
- Grouping: It allows to select a grouping criteria to obtain one calculated value for each combination of the selected criteria attributes.
- Target matrix: It allows to select a target matrix to obtain one calculated value for each combination of the matrix attributes, along with the corresponding target values.
MindConnect Firmware and Software Agent¶
What's new?¶
With this release, the MindConnect device's cloud connection check has been enhanced to also verify connectivity to the new FDS/CDS backend on AWS. The firmware now confirms not only the general cloud endpoint but also whether the device can reach the CDS backend service. This ensures that devices and software agents can successfully reach required backend services.
Insights Hub Edge Analytics¶
What's new?¶
With this release, it introduces a new guided tour for Insights Hub Edge Analytics. The customers who purchased the addon "Edge Analytics" will have a guided tour now available, that tour helps users understand and navigate the Edge Analytics functionality more easily.
Traceability¶
What's new?¶
With this release, the Traceability application has been introduced to provide deeper insights into the entire product lifecycle. The enhanced material genealogy engine enables users to track the origin of every component across globally distributed manufacturing sites. The user interface has been optimized to streamline the correlation between process data and quality parameters, significantly accelerating Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
The main functionalities are:
- Genealogy: End-to-end tracking of components across globally distributed manufacturing sites.
- Advanced Search: Tools to quickly locate and isolate specific batches.
- Containment: Integration with MES to manage and contain suspect material lots.
- Mass Balance: Analysis of produced and consumed material quantities to ensure full transparency and minimize waste across the production process.
App Registry service¶
What's new?¶
With this release, the user apps roles intersection feature has been introduced, Launchpad can now delegate role-based visibility decisions to the App Registry service. The service will impersonate the user, call the users or ID (backend-safe) API, evaluate which applications the user can access and return the final list of accessible apps to Launchpad. This approach centralizes access logic and simplifies Launchpad configuration.
Cloud Foundry¶
With this release, updating Cloud Foundry applications through the user interface is no longer supported, as Cloud Foundry has reached end of life (EOL) and end of service (EOS). Customers can no longer modify or update the Cloud Foundry applications via the user interface.
MindConnect Library¶
What's new?¶
- Updated the Insights Hub Gateway URL to use the Siemens Xcelerator Gateway endpoint.
- Added support for the "DigiCert TLS RSA4096 Root G.5" certificate (for future use), in addition to the existing "DigiCert Global Root G2" certificate.
- Updated the minimum required OpenSSL version to 3.5.2 for users using OpenSSL as the security library.
- Updated the minimum required libCurl version to 8.16.0 for users using libCurl as the HTTP client.
- Upgraded the cJSON library to version 1.7.19.
23rd March 2026¶
Insights Hub Monitor¶
What's new?¶
- Shared assets in the Monitor application can now be used in rules, allowing customers to create and manage rules for any shared asset.
- The cases user interface has been enhanced with a search field, allowing users to filter cases based on title, handle or description.
- It is now possible for the Monitor to display date and time values in charts or tables according to the locale settings of the user’s current browser.
- In
Analyze > Time Series, the variable configuration now displays the hierarchy path, making it easier to distinguish between variables from assets with identical names.
Insights Hub Copilot Studio¶
What's new?¶
With this release, the following user interface enhancements have been introduced:
- Adjusted input field dimensions to improve usability.
- Removed unnecessary scrollbars in the detail panel for a clear and accessible view.
- Enabled automatic opening of the search input for quicker interactions.
- Added count indicators to display the number of configured agents and skills.
- Increased the number of character limits for agent parameter inputs, allowing detailed context to be provided.
