We have worked hard to deliver a great experience. These release notes are relevant for Remote Services release by May 2023 and include new and adjusted features or fixed issues. If you find other issues, please give us your feedback by contacting our Support.
Remote Services¶
What's new?¶
- With this latest release we are adding support for Remote Service Endpoints on Industrial Edge devices. These Endpoints could be downloaded from Remote Services UI and could be side-loaded into Industrial Edge Management System. With this functionality the customer will now be able to use Remote Service functionalities over Industrial Edge devices.
- With this latest release we are adding support for containerized Remote Service Endpoints. These Endpoints could be downloaded from Remote Services UI and could be installed on x86 or x64 (Intel or AMD) or ARM64. With this functionality the customer will now be able to use Remote Service functionalities on own devices.
System Requirements for Remote Services (RS)¶
Browser-based access to Remote Services App¶
- Microsoft Windows ® 10 version 1909: Google ChromeTM (version 68 or newer)
- recommended screen resolution: 1280x1024 and 1920x1080 with zoom level 100%
- Minimum screen resolution: 1280x720 with zoom level 100%
Requirements for service personnel's PCs hosting RS Service Endpoint (former Operator Client) as entry point for network-to-network access¶
- Service Endpoint (Operator Client) can be downloaded from RS

Known issues¶
- It is recommended to have "Lock Connectivity" targeting an entire site deactivated when working on the related Service Asset to ensure its proper setup.
- User role will still be displayed after de-assignment of the role. This de-assigned role is not usable therefore in case user switches to it an error message will be displayed.
