Within this release of Insights Hub Local Private Cloud, you will experience the Insights Hub services and applications in the same way with from our public cloud offerings.

Depending on the chosen plans and services for each deployment, the following service will be available with this release:

Asset Manager¶

What's new?

• Within this release, we have implemented various quality of life features to make the asset configuration easier. It is now possible to explore types during the asset creation to find the one that suits your requirements. In addition, you can also create assets directly from the type in the Type view, by simply selecting the parent asset.

Business Intelligence¶

What's new?

• Within this release, Business Intelligence Private Add-on has the following new package sizes:
  • Base Subscription will now include 20 Creator licenses
  • Viewer upgrade package will now provide 40 additional viewer licenses
  • New Creator upgrade package will provide 20 additional creator licenses

Edge Analytics¶

What's new?

• Within this release,
  • Edge Analytics supports an expert mode, which can be activated by clicking on the respective icon at the top right corner of the screen in the Edge Analytics application. When activated, certain expert parameters like filter settings for vibration can be edited to provide more control over analytics for experts.
  • we have now provided a guided tour for Edge Analytics. The tour will guide you step-by-step through the configuration of a new analysis. The activation button can be found in the home screen of the Edge Analytics application.

Insights Hub OEE¶

What's new?

• Within this release,
  • we have now provided the possibility to the operators to enter all required values manually to calculate the OEE KPIs. This includes Counters, Product Information and Order.
  • we have now enabled UTS to report the number of currently used OEE assets in Insights Hub OEE.
  • we have now changed the KPI delivery in the application. Whenever multiple state changes are detected in the selected time range, the application displays the machine status on request to speed up the KPI delivery and display.

Plugin MindConnect IoT2040¶

What's new?

• Within this release,
  • it is now possible to import multiple mappings per datapoint.
  • we have provided a new Asset Manager configuration view that enhances the configuration speed and simplify your daily tasks with the MindConnect system.
  • it is now possible to access the advanced mapping page directly from the main menu.
  • the MindConnect Devices can be restricted to disable the usage of Remote Services on the device.
  • BiDirectional communication is also possible with Modbus.
  • it is now possible to browse System Adapter or IO shield adapters to simplify the engineering of datapoints.

Plugin IoT2050¶

What's new?

• Within this release,
  • it is now possible to import multiple mappings per datapoint.
  • it is now possible to access the advanced mapping page directly from the main menu.
  • the MindConnect Devices can be restricted to disable the usage of Remote Services on the device.
  • BiDirectional communication is also possible with Modbus.

• Within this release,

  • it is now possible to access the advanced mapping page directly from the main menu.

Plugin MindConnect Software Agent¶

What's new?

• Within this release,
  • the firmware file can be downloaded out of the MindConnect Asset Manager plugin. For manual updates of the devices, no SIOS access is required.
  • the user interface for MindConnect Software Agent is updated to achieve a better usability for the customer.
  • it is now possible to import multiple mappings per datapoint. This can be done for MindConnect Software Agent and MindConnect IoT2050.
  • it is now possible to access the advanced mapping page directly from the main menu.
  • BiDirectional communication is also possible with Modbus.
  • it is now possible to browse System Adapter or IO shield adapters to simplify the engineering of datapoints

Predictive Learning¶

What's new?

• Within this release,
  • the legacy Jupyter model validation and execution environment is updated with Jupyter Lab software.
  • the Predictive Learning dataset creation feature is removed from the Predictive Learning app.

Settings¶

What's new?

• Within this release, we have increased the transparency of Policy Based Access Control (PBAC) by showing cross references between policies, users and user groups.
