- Asset Manager
- Edge Analytics
- Integrated Data Lake
- Insights Hub Launchpad
- Insights Hub OEE
- Insights Hub Quality Prediction
- Settings
Asset Health & Maintenance¶
What's new?
- With this release, Asset Health and Maintenance is available as VPC Azure offering.
Asset Manager¶
What's new?
- With this release, the user interface for MindConnect LIB helps you to quickly select assets and map datapoints. In addition to the
csv
files, you can also use the familiarxlsx
files to accurately map datapoints. For reusing the datapoint mapping or to retain a copy of the asset mapping, download the mapping asxlsx
file. You can then reuse or modify it offline and channel your data according to your needs. Furthermore, we have improved the performance and enhanced the usability of the user interface.
Dashboards¶
What's new?
- With this release, the Dashboard theme colors have been updated to reflect new Siemens defaults. Few plugins will adapt to these changes in future releases.
Edge Analytics¶
What's new?
- In this release, you can now monitor status bits and provide information about the machine states. The pre-processed bits are uploaded in an aggregated format and can be used by other applications like OEE Hub.
- With this release, data from Ifm devices can be continuously streamed with a dedicated device firmware.
- With this release, we have introduced a function node for Custom Analysis Packages. It allows execution of JavaScript code on the edge. This provides high flexibility, and can be used for data pre-processing tasks, even before the data is sent to Insights Hub.
Integrated Data Lake¶
What's new?
- With this release, policies now support the use of ENUM lists in condition statements, allowing you to define conditions with multiple ENUM list values. These policies will be evaluated to provide Attribute Based Access Control (ABAC) within Data Lake.
- With this release, ENUM values can now be marked as
deprecated
when they are no longer applicable. This is done to ensure that existing data using these values remains unaffected. - With this release, policy conditions for access control can be defined with a maximum length of 15k characters.
Insights Hub Launchpad¶
What's new?
- With this release, we have modernized the look and feel of the Launchpad and OS Bar. Furthermore, we have restructured the Launchpad for easy access to system tools, apps & solutions and a better overview of the available applications.
Insights Hub OEE¶
What's new?
- Within this release, we have enabled the selection of timezone in the date range picker for OEE KPIs and quick selection of user-defined time range.
Insights Hub Quality Prediction¶
What's new?
- With this release, imputation improves the quality of the training input data. This means that the incomplete rows are no longer dropped from the data set. Instead, missing values are filled in by using the Last Observation Carried Forward (LOCF) method.
Monitor¶
What's new?
- In this release, the Monitor theme colors have been updated to reflect new Siemens defaults. Few plugins will adapt to these changes in future releases.
Settings¶
What's new?
- In this release, Dynamic Access Conditions can be configured for Policies. Dynamic Access Conditions enable you to manage access to IDL resources based on the metadata keys of the protected resource.
