Asset Health and Maintenance

What's new?

  • In this release, we are introducing the re-designed user interface for the Asset Health & Maintenance app. The new UI is completely case-based and incorporates the latest UI/UX features from Insights Hub. Additionally, the app's performance has been greatly enhanced.

Asset Manager

What's new?

  • In this release, the new user interface for MindConnect LIB helps you to quickly select assets and accurately perform data point mapping. In addition, you can use familiar xlsx files to formulate data point mapping to accurately map datapoints. For reusing the datapoint mapping or to keep a copy of the asset mapping, download the mapping as xlsx file. You can then reuse or modify it offline and channel your data according to your needs.

Business Intelligence

What's new?

  • With this release, Tableau Server is updated to version 2024.2.

Dashboard Designer

What's new?

  • With this release, all functionalities of Dashboard Designer, including the SVG plugin for custom visualizations, 10 Creator and 50 Viewer licenses will be included in all Standard and Premium/Advanced Capability Packages for Local and Virtual Private Cloud.

Edge Analytics

What's new?

  • In this release, you can now monitor status bits and provide information about machine states in Edge Analytics. The pre-processed bits are uploaded in an aggregated format and can be used by other applications like OEE Hub.
  • With this release, we have introduced a new Data Source with a dedicated device firmware for continuous high data streaming from Ifm AnReSa devices.
  • With this release, we have introduced a Function node for Custom Analysis Packages. It allows execution of JavaScript code on the edge. This provides high flexibility, and can be used for data pre-processing tasks, even before the data is sent to Insights Hub.

Insights Hub Launchpad & OS Bar

What's new?

  • With this release, we have modernized the look and feel of the Launchpad and OS Bar. Furthermore, we have addressed the increased demand to whitelabel the OS Bar, so that it shows your own Company Name or Logo without Siemens. For more details, refer to the OS Bar documentation.

MindConnect MQTT

What's new?

  • In this release, it is now possible to send commands to your agents from the agent user interface.

Monitor

What's new?

  • With this release,
    • the icon for Monitor on the Launchpad has been updated.
    • the drop zone to upload files in Explore/Attachments has been improved.
    • the legacy dashboards in Monitor have been deprecated and removed in favor of Dashboard Designer boards.

Insights Hub OEE

What's new?

  • Within this release, Microstops can be configured as a global setting for your environment. You can define your own microstop threshold, below which a downtime is counted as a microstop and specify whether microstop losses are counted as Availability or Performance loss.

Insights Hub Quality Prediction

What's new?

  • With this release, models can be trained by a Neural Network regressor.

Predictive Learning

What's new?

  • Within this release, we have introduced the schedule job configuration with email notification. With this feature,
    • the user can configure the job with email notification rule. The rule can be defined on getting notified based on the job Failed/succeeded or both.
    • In the rule, user can provide the appropriate single or multiple email id's. The user's whose email ids are configured in the rule will receive the updates via email. It is still possible for the users to disable the rule or enable later.
    • Large and XLarge environment configuration templates are supported on LPC platform. Before configuring such environment configurations, customers needs to make sure that the underlaying cluster has the hardware resources (CPU & memory) available on the cluster nodes. Such Large and XLarge configurations would be required if the customer is spinning up heavy jobs which needs large CPU and memory to run the job.
