Scope

We have worked hard to deliver a great MindSphere Private Premium experience, but we are still tracking some known issues. If you find others, please give us your feedback by contacting our MindSphere Support.

We recommend that you read the following release notes carefully. These notes contain important information for installation and use.

These release notes are relevant for MindSphere Private Premium Release in February 2023.

MindSphere Private Cloud

Within this release of MindSphere Private Cloud, you will experience the MindSphere services and applications in the same way with from our public cloud offerings.

Depending on the chosen plans and services for each deployment, the following service will be available with this release:

  • Asset Management
  • Event Management
  • IoT TS Aggregates Services
  • MindConnect Software Agent
  • Resource Access Management

Asset Management

Applicable for:

  • Subscribers of Capability package: Standard package and Premium package

What's new?

  • Within this release, the SDS policy enforcement no longer excludes the Asset Management Admin roles. Users with this role will now also require an access policy. This was done to give admin access rights more flexibility. It is now possible to grant limited write access to sub-trees of the asset tree.

Advanced Intimation:

  • This release will enforce the page size limit of 200 for the below asset management GET APIs in the upcoming release. All customers, users, app builders needs to adapt based on above changes, if not adapted.

Event Management

Applicable for:

  • Subscribers of Capability package: Standard package and Premium package

What's new?

  • Within this release, enable subscription-based notification for Event Management application on private cloud.
  • Within this release, the SDS policy enforcement no longer excludes the Event Management Admin roles. Users with this role will now also require an access policy. This was done to give admin access rights more flexibility. It is now possible to grant limited write access to sub-trees of the asset tree.

IoT TS Aggregates Services

Applicable for:

  • Subscribers of Capability package: Standard package and Premium package

What's new?

  • With this release, TimeSeries Aggregate v4 API will support the following features:
    • Hourly Aggregate Limit: 31 days to support any month (previously it was 30 days).
    • Daily, Weekly, Monthly Aggregate Limit: 366 days to support leap year (previously it was 365 days).

Resource Access Management

Applicable for:

  • Subscribers of Capability package: Standard package and Premium package
