Scope¶
We have worked hard to deliver a great MindSphere Private Premium experience, but we are still tracking some known issues. If you find others, please give us your feedback by contacting our MindSphere Support.
We recommend that you read the following release notes carefully. These notes contain important information for installation and use.
These release notes are relevant for MindSphere Private Premium Release in August 2022.
MindSphere Private Cloud¶
Within this release of MindSphere Private Cloud, you will experience the MindSphere services and applications in the same way with from our public cloud offerings.
Depending on the chosen plans and services for each deployment, the following service will be available with this release:

Asset Management¶
Applicable for:
- Subscribers of Capability package: Standard package and Premium package
What's new?
- Within this release, MindSphere will enforce the page size limit of 200 for the below asset management GET APIs in next release.
- Within this release, Asset Attribute parameter added on legacy offering along with offering definition for new T-shirt sizes to address offering mixed scenario issues.
- Within this release, creating the certificates can be copied from the UI. It is required only to fill the space after the "=" sign. Earlier, there was a requiring you to delete it. Now, copy the URL using the copy button in the UI itself. It is easy to select the full URL along with port number. This makes your copy job correct every time.

Essential Forecast and Anomaly Detection capabilities (AI for Everyone within Operations Insight)¶
Applicable for:
- Subscribers of Capability package: Standard package and Premium package
What's new?
- Within this release, “AI for Everyone" allows you to generate forecasts and anomaly detections on time series data via easy and efficient machine learning for citizen data scientists. Accomplishing essential customer use cases to generate new insights from advanced data analytics can be achieved even for a non-data scientist.
This essential forecast and anomaly detection capabilities are available by default with the standard and premium packages with 50 forecasts and 50 anomaly detections per month. The following add-ons can be purchased once or multiple times per month to increase the limits.- Forecast Quota Upgrade add-on (additional 500 forecasts per month)
- Anomaly Detection Quota Upgrade add-on (additional 500 anomaly detections)
Event Management¶

What's new?
- Within this release, there is a documentation update to add the information of filtering options for Event Management “GetAll Events APIs”.
Integrated Data Lake¶
Applicable for:
- Subscribers of Capability package: Standard package and Premium package
What's new?
- Within this release, it is now possible to schedule jobs to import time series data in Integrated Data Lake. Data import jobs can be scheduled on Data Lake User Interface as:
- Daily - scheduled Time Series import data would be run daily.
- Weekly - scheduled Time Series import data would be run once a week on selected day.
- Monthly - scheduled Time Series import data would be run once in a month on selected day.
IoT Time Series Service / IoT Time Series Aggregates Service¶
Applicable for:
- Subscribers of Capability package: Standard package and Premium package
What's new?
- Within this release, Time Series API users can use the patch functionality to merge the values of variables in time series record for the same timestamp.
Advanced Intimation:
- IoT Time Series Aggregate V3 API will not be available post 15th of August 2022. It is required migrate to upgraded version V4 API. Details are available at:
MindConnect IoT2040¶
- Within this release, enabled a routing table for production ethernet interface to also ensure subnets with other IP bands can be reached.
MindConnect Nano¶
- Within this release, enabled a routing table for production ethernet interface to also ensure subnets with other IP bands can be reached.
MindConnect Software Agent¶
- Within this release:
- Added Support for MindConnect Software Agent Docker & Routing Network feature in MindConnect Software Agent UI Plugin in Local Private Cloud.

Operator Cockpit¶

What's new?
- Within this release, the system complications and anomalies related to version upgrade and Auto Deployment are mitigated. The flow are expected to be much smoother post these changes.
Operations Insight¶
Applicable for:
- Subscribers of Capability package: Standard package and Premium package
What's new?
- Within this release, you can now export the data in Assets / Time Series by:
- raw data or
- the aggregated data
- Within this release, you can now create annotations in Operations Insight (Explore Assets / Analyse Time Series / Explore Events). Also, dashboards which are created by Visual Explorer or Visual Flow Creator have the possibility to create an annotation.
- Annotations can be used to comment different scenarios with tags.
- Annotations are displayed in the Events Overview. Here you can also filter for tags.
- Annotations are linked to the root assets.
Visual Explorer¶
Applicable for:
- Subscribers of Capability package: Standard package and Premium package
What's new?
- Within this release:
- Static aspects and variables are automatically included in IoT data sources.
- Custom schedules are enabled for view subscriptions. With that, you can individually configure your own schedule for each subscription.
- Tableau Server is updated to 2021.4.6.
- Visual Explorer Connector supports entire IDL directories as data source, in addition to selection of single IDL files. The data of all parquet files within the IDL directory and its sub-directories will automatically be combined and can be used in VE workbooks.
- We provide access to tableau subscriptions to get reports sent via e-mail using a predefined schedule.
- Visual Explorer supports the use of MindSphere "Events" as data within workbooks.
Visual Flow Creator¶
Applicable for:
- Subscribers of Capability package: Standard package and Premium package
What's new?
- Within this release, the rules event notification emails have been adapted to the new MindSphere design.
- The import / export dialog is improved.
