Home Page¶
The Asset Based Home Page provides a comprehensive overview of your Predict assets, their associated dataset and analytics (Predictions, Anomaly Detections). It allows you to add new Predict assets for analytics and start your journey more intuitively.
The home page features a asset-centric interface for each Predict asset that includes a button for dataset creation and informational cards displaying dataset details. Each card presents the number of associated predictions and anomaly detections, both of which are interactive elements that, when selected, navigate the user to the corresponding details page.
To start the analytics journey, add a dataset with time series records of specific time range in the history from the associated Predict asset. Predict can build the engine of prediction or anomaly detection via simple configuration and automated journey. Once built, this engine will continuously monitor new data from your asset, automatically predict outcomes and detect anomalies based on the schedule.
Additionally, the asset-based home page incorporates current usage, available quota, a guided tour and "What's New" information for your reference.
Note
- "Predict asset": In this documentation, a "Predict asset" refers to any of your Insights Hub asset that you have connected for analytics (Predictions, Anomaly Detections). This term is used because the application organizes all analytics based on the specific asset being monitored.
- "engine": In this documentation, the term "engine" (e.g., "engine of prediction", "prediction engine", "anomaly detection engine") is used for domain experts from shopfloor. It is similar to what data scientists call a "model". This term is used because it better describes a powerful system that works continuously to analyze your assets and generate insights.
User Interface¶
The following image shows the Asset Based Home Page screen:
① Displays the list of Predict assets.
② Displays cards representing the datasets associated to the selected Predict asset. Each card contains dataset information along with the number of engines of predictions and anomaly detections under this dataset.
③ Displays quota information, guided tours, selected asset's usages, and "What's New" information.
④ Displays a button to create a new dataset.
Add Asset¶
When we click the "Add Asset" button 
, the following screen appears. "Add asset" button allows to add a new Predict asset by selecting an existing asset from the list of assets created already in Insights Hub and this journey will create a new dataset also, which uses the same UI of when you click the button of "Add dataset".
