Offline buffer¶

In order to calculate the buffer time for MindConnect Software Agent you can use the following formula:

MindConnect Software Agents data buffer is 500 MB. When the buffer is at full capacity, the new incoming data will overwrite the oldest data.

The following example shows the buffer time for a MindConnect Software Agent with 500 MB data buffer:

In this case, 120 bytes is the memory needed for one data point.
