Insights Hub OEE Release Changelog

In this section, you can find release related changelogs for the Insights Hub OEE application.

EU1 Releases

September 2024

With this release, we provide the following updates:

  • Define your own microstop threshold, below which a downtime is counted as a microstop
  • Specify whether microstop losses are counted as part of the Availability or Performance KPIs
  • Microstops are shown as a separate category in the Downtime Analysis section
  • See the contribution of microstops on the overall downtime KPIs
  • Filter on microstops in the Downtime Analysis and Downtime Management pages to see the top reasons causing microstops
  • See the overall percentage contribution of microstops to production losses in the Loss Overview page

May 2024

With this release, we provide the following updates:

  • Read either a design speed or cycle time directly from a variable
  • Product design speed information can be fetched either from a product code and associated product information or directly from a variable
  • Set up new products in product collections either with design speed or cycle time
  • Performance page now features a new visualization around production target including the calculated production goal, the total output and the good parts
  • Introduction of the What's new window which will moving forward give an overview on newly released capabilities

With this release, we are introducing the new MindSphere solution OEE Hub. OEE Hub is equipped with the following capabilities:

  • Calculation of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Mean Time To Repair (MTTR), Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) and further KPIs on line and machine level
  • Filter the calculated values for different time ranges, products or orders
  • Configure multiple products with different design speeds to support multi-product production systems
  • Reason Tree Modeling to better understand occurring downtimes in the factory and the possibility to overwrite collected downtime reasons to improve analysis
  • Customization of OEE formulas for OEE calculation
  • Possibility to set up production times, breaks, maintenance etc. in calendars
  • Visualization screens for general OEE overview, availability, performance, quality, different losses and downtime reasons
