Adding an Analysis to an Advanced KPI

Analysis configuration settings allow you to specify how the analysis data is filtered, grouped, and displayed; when and how often to run it; what threshold will trigger an alert when results cross it; who to notify for an alert, and what KPI analysis to run for autodiscovery.

This example shows the four settings areas (blocks) for an analysis. All analysis settings are optional, with the exception of the Group Results By field; the system applies the following defaults, unless you specify otherwise:

  • Time Series: results are grouped by minute, with an interval of 2
  • Integrated Data Lake: results are grouped by date, with an interval of month
