Prefix Sensor IDs¶

This is used when synchronizing assets from Industrial IoT. The sensor IDs will be recorded on the asset in Insights Hub as part of the static variables. To recognize which variables are the sensor IDs, indicate here the prefix or common part of the name of those static variables that are the sensor IDs.

When we have a look at the configured asset type from the Aspect / Asset configuration section of the Prerequisites chapter, we can see that the Prefix for the SensorIDs is equal to “Sensor”. Hence, the input values of Sensor1, Sensor2, Sensor3, Sensor4 will be the associated IDs of the sensor. Of course, if your material channel has more positions, please add additional static variables following the same schema “SensorX” (where X equals a number).
