Overview¶
The Dashboards page provides a centralized view of all dashboards that have been created using Dashboard Designer and shared with you on this tenant. This interface enables you to access, manage, and interact with custom dashboards designed for monitoring and analyzing asset health and maintenance data.
Dashboards are used to visualize key metrics, performance indicators, and operational data in a customizable format. Each dashboard can be opened for viewing or edited to suit specific monitoring requirements.
In the "Dashboards" section, you can view all available dashboards displayed as cards with relevant metadata. The following graphic shows the "Dashboards" screen.

- Dashboard name: Displays the title of the dashboard
- Creation information: Shows the Dashboard Designer version used (v10)
- Creator: Displays the email address of the dashboard creator
- Description field: Optional area for dashboard description
- Action menu: Three-dot menu providing access to dashboard operations

- Open in new tab: Opens the selected dashboard in a new browser tab for viewing
- Edit in new tab: Opens the selected dashboard in Dashboard Designer for editing in a new browser tab
Using the Dashboards Page¶
Viewing Dashboards¶
To view all available dashboards, navigate to the Dashboards section from the main navigation menu. All dashboards shared with you on the tenant will be displayed as cards in a grid layout.
Searching for Dashboards¶
Use the search bar at the top of the page to filter dashboards by name. Enter your search criteria, and the dashboard list will be filtered automatically. Click the clear button (×) to remove the search filter and display all dashboards again.
Opening a Dashboard¶
To open a dashboard for viewing, proceed with the following steps:
- Navigate to the required dashboard card.
- Click on the dashboard card or click the three-dot menu icon.
- Select "Open in new tab" from the dropdown menu. The dashboard will open in a new browser tab for viewing.
Editing a Dashboard¶
To edit a dashboard, proceed with the following steps:
- Navigate to the dashboard you want to modify.
- Click the three-dot menu icon on the dashboard card.
- Select "Edit in new tab" from the dropdown menu. The dashboard will open in Dashboard Designer in a new browser tab. You can edit or update the details as required.
Dashboard Information¶
Each dashboard card displays the following information:
- Dashboard name: The title assigned to the dashboard.
- Creation details: Information about which version of Dashboard Designer was used to create the dashboard.
- Creator information: The email address of the user who created the dashboard.
- Description: Optional descriptive text about the dashboard's purpose (if provided).
All dashboards are created using Dashboard Designer (v10) and can be customized to display specific metrics, charts, and data visualizations relevant to asset health and maintenance monitoring.
Viewing an Open Dashboard¶
When you open a dashboard, it is displayed in a dedicated view with interactive controls and the dashboard content rendered in full screen. The following graphic shows an opened dashboard.
