Asset Groups¶
Asset Groups provide a logical way to organize related assets for maintenance and operational oversight. They help you group assets that belong together in a common context, such as a plant area, machine line, customer installation, or any other business-defined grouping. Asset Groups can be assigned to teams for defining the maintenance responsibility of these Assets.
In the Configuration section, you can search asset groups, create a new asset group, review its details, and maintain the assets assigned to it.
The following graphic shows the "Asset Groups" screen.

The asset group detail pane shows the selected asset group name and description together with the assigned assets. From the detail pane, you can review the current assignment and update the asset list when needed.
