Deprecated data mapping¶

Deprecated data mappings may appear in your MindConnectLib agent if you have changed your data source configuration.

The MindConnect Lib plugin shows deprecated data mappings in the "Data mappings" window:

Deprecated mappings are completely functional. But they disappear when editing the data source configuration.

All new created data mappings are persistent. This also applies if you update your data source configuration.

Orphaned data mappings¶

Orphaned data mappings are caused by outdated mappings or if you configure the data mapping via an API. E. g. If you delete a datapoint /data source or edit the unit or datatype of a datapoint, which is currently connected via a data mapping this data mapping will appear as orphaned data mapping.
