Identity and Access Management¶

For Organizations¶

MindSphere subtenants are represented as "Organizations" (Orgs) in Dashboard Designer. Organizations will be automatically created when a user from a subtenant logs in to Dashboard Designer the first time.

A subtenant user of MindSphere with (admin/editor/viewer) Dashboard Designer roles will only be able to see dashboards and assets under the user's subtenant.

Only users with the MindSphere 'tenantAdmin' role will be able to switch between organizations (subtenants) in Dashboard Designer.

Default User Roles¶

The three default user roles are:

• Admin: allows full access to all functionalities of Dashboard Designer. Users with the admin role can define and override individual dashboard editing and viewing rights for users and teams. This allows for further control of dashboard access levels.

• Creator: allows creating and editing dashboards in Dashboard Designer/

• DesignerViewer: allows viewing dashboards in Dashboard Designer

Teams¶

Teams are groups of users.
